Telecommunications Field Engineer
Visa sponsorship
Engineering · Brisbane, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · $85,000 - $100,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored
North of Brisbane, an Australian-owned contractor that builds and upgrades telecommunications infrastructure is hiring a Telecommunications Field Engineer. Its crews do rigging and civil work, integrate RF and transmission equipment and upgrade or decommission structures for carriers and their prime contractors, working through two delivery teams run by its directors.
You would handle the technical side of a site: integration, commissioning and carrier sign-off, on greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations across a national project pipeline. Rigging tickets and structural know-how sit alongside RF and Tx skills. It is direct, full-time employment (not labour hire), ANZSCO 313212, with travel to remote and metro sites.
The company is an approved Standard Business Sponsor under the Subclass 482 Skills in Demand programme. Suitably qualified overseas candidates on eligible visas may be considered, while Australian citizens, permanent residents and other Australians get priority.
Engineers in Nairobi should list sites, systems and tickets held. Prepare a telecoms field engineer CV with Build AI CV before applying.
