An Australian electrical engineering and manufacturing company at the top of its field, based in the Brisbane area, is growing its engineering team and needs an experienced HV/MV Electrical Engineer. Its work is engineering, building, testing and commissioning high, medium and low voltage infrastructure, including protection and control panels, for clients in utilities, mining, renewables, infrastructure and industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Take on high- and medium-voltage electrical work involving switchgear, switchrooms, switchboards and transportable substations
- Collaborate with the engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality and project teams on power distribution, protection and control systems projects
- Work from electrical drawings, technical documentation and specifications
Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian registration as an Electrical Engineer
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant industry experience, including HV and/or MV electrical systems
- Highly regarded: familiarity with switchboards, switchgear, substations, power distribution, or protection and control systems
- Can work from electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills, plus an understanding of relevant Australian Standards
- Collaborative with the engineering, manufacturing, project and testing teams
