Engineering · Wellington, New Zealand · Full-Time · $38.25 - $45.06/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Several permanent vacancies have opened with the team that keeps Wellington's electric trains running. The employer is a global rolling stock manufacturer, and the job is safety-critical: tracing faults, servicing and repairing the electric multiple units and carriages, and getting them back into service after an incident. Hours are on a shift pattern, with at least 40 each week.
Engineers who have worked hands-on in electrical, mechanical, rail, industrial or automotive settings should look closely. Overseas applicants are welcome, because the employer holds Accredited Employer status and offers AEWV sponsorship support to selected candidates who bring rolling stock experience.
