Coffs Harbour has an oceanfront venue that belongs to a growing hospitality group, with fine and casual dining places in Queensland and New South Wales. It needs an experienced Sous Chef, and also qualified chefs, to join the kitchen. The space is versatile, so the work includes a bistro restaurant, plus weddings, conferences, functions and live music events on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience in similar roles. A sponsorship opportunity is available if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Shape inspiring menus for the bistro and for events packages
- Help attract new talent and strengthen the current team, creating a positive place to work
- Lead and manage the kitchen team against KPIs
- Look after food quality, portion control and presentation
- Run bistro service
- Plan and deliver regular functions and events
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2+ years in similar roles
- High emotional intelligence and strong skill in managing people
- Proven track record of managing a fast-paced, multifaceted kitchen
- Attention to detail and quality control, with an understanding of costing and profits
- Strong organisational and planning skills
