Part of an established hospitality and events group with venues in Sydney and Canberra, a Canberra venue best known for high tea, weddings and corporate events wants a seasoned Restaurant Manager to be fully in charge of operations. The role is worked on nights and weekends.
Sponsorship is available. Day to day you would keep high tea, weddings and company functions running as one operation, in step with the General Manager, the events team and the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
- Be accountable for the day-to-day running of high tea, weddings, corporate functions and private events
- Roster, train and grow the front-of-house team; stay in step with the General Manager, events and kitchen so each event goes smoothly
- Protect service standards and the look of the venue, and respond to guest feedback
- Lift revenue, hold down costs and keep up with WHS and RSA compliance
Requirements & Eligibility
- A track record as a Restaurant, Venue or Events Manager in premium hospitality
- Warm and approachable with guests and with the team
- A confident, hands-on leader who takes complete ownership of operations
- Excellent English, spoken and written
- Well organised, with a sharp eye for detail
- Free for nights and weekends, every weekend, public holidays and peak event periods included, with an ACT RSA
