Duty Manager
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $28 - $32/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
A rooftop bar in Christchurch's CBD, now in its sixth year and counted among the city's premier hospitality venues, is hiring an experienced Duty Manager. It opens Tuesday to Sunday, offers sharing plates and fresh seasonal dishes with full table service throughout, and uses Mondays for presentation, cocktail competitions, functions and staff training.
The permanent, full-time contract has a 30 hour minimum and rotating closing shifts, so the work is evenings and weekends, and Friday and Saturday evenings are non negotiable. The owners want a small, strong team that will dig in, with in-depth training and growth for people who commit. Immediate starts are possible, and sponsorship is available for the right candidate.
