A golf club in a regional Victorian tourist town has a kitchen vacancy for a qualified, passionate and highly motivated Chef. The area attracts visitors all year round for skiing, boating, fishing, hiking and other outdoor pursuits, and the town offers everything needed for comfortable regional living.
As trade is growing, the Chef would help the head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands, answering to the Head Chef in a dynamic, professional team. An immediate start is available. Applicants need valid Australian work rights. Sponsorship may be offered to exceptional applicants once a trial period has gone well.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook menu items and keep an eye on dish quality from preparation to plating
- Train and supervise staff who are new or less experienced
- Hand out tasks to the team and supervise the cooks, stepping in when required
- Follow hygiene rules
- Watch stock levels and place orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Cookery qualifications and commercial experience (Cert 3 or higher)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
- Flexibility to work a mix of weekdays and weekends in a 7-day operation
- Good communication, and the ability to work alone or in a team
- OH&S and food hygiene knowledge
- Valid work rights in Australia
