Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food each day and put the menu out, for the café, functions and catering
- Keep quality, presentation and hygiene at a high level
- Serve the everyday café crowd and group bookings
- Handle tour groups and special events such as functions and celebrations
- Stay steady working alone or alongside the wider team
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 12 months in a previous role as a Chef in a café, restaurant or commercial kitchen
- Skilled in preparing, cooking and presenting food
- Understands food safety, hygiene and how a kitchen runs
- Manages time well when service is busy and copes under pressure
- Well organised and happy to work alone or in a team, positive, reliable and proud of the food served
