A seaside hospitality precinct with several restaurants, bars, a beer garden and function and event spaces is hiring Chefs de Partie for its Melbourne venues. Key Responsibilities
- Run your own section to a high standard, taking direction from the senior chefs
- Send out food that gives guests an exceptional experience, even when the venue is moving fast
- Have a say in menu development and budgets within your area of expertise
- Work a rotating roster
- Be rostered on weekends and public holidays as well
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification plus at least 12 months of relevant experience, or at least 3 years of relevant experience if you are not trade qualified
- Experience of budgets and menu development in your own area of expertise
- Can follow direction and keep standards high
- Enthusiastic about fast-paced hospitality, with a real passion for food
- Willing to learn, develop and grow in the job
- Strong teamwork and communication, a guest-first mindset and pride in your craft; flexible enough for a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
