Inventive cooking, strong service and a commitment to sustainable, locally sourced ingredients are what it is known for. As the Chef, you would create dishes that show the best of the local produce in a modern kitchen in Canberra.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook a broad range of inventive dishes and plate them beautifully
- Hold quality, presentation and service to the highest standard
- Create new menu items and rework existing recipes together with the Head Chef
- Handle your own station, apply food safety and hygiene rules to the letter, and keep the kitchen moving
- Coach junior cooks and attend regular team meetings and training
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years working as a Chef in a quick-moving restaurant that sets high standards
- Culinary school training or a hospitality qualification that fits the role
- Cooking that is first-rate, backed by a sharp eye for finish and plating
- Sound understanding of safe food handling and hygiene
- A team player who communicates well and who loves seasonal, locally sourced produce
- Copes well when the kitchen is busy and the pressure is high
