Education
Education vacancies in Australia and New Zealand include classroom teachers, early childhood educators, teaching assistants, tutors and trainers. This category lists them for people in Kenya, where many teachers and trainers already have strong subject knowledge and long experience with large and varied classes.
On your CV, set out the subjects and age groups you taught, the curriculum you followed, the assessments you prepared and any pastoral or sports duties. Teaching diplomas and degrees should appear with their exact titles, and registration with the Teachers Service Commission belongs in its own line. Letters from head teachers help to confirm your dates and responsibilities.
Teaching overseas needs registration with a local authority, and each state or territory in Australia and the teaching council in New Zealand sets its own steps. Qualifications are assessed individually, so do not assume automatic recognition. Read each advert for its conditions, including work eligibility. Applicants of any nationality may apply.
