Senior Accountant

Onshore applicants only

Visa sponsorship

Accounting & Finance · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $100,000 - $110,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only

A well-established, growing public practice firm in Sydney wants an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Business Services and Tax team. The post suits someone who can run client assignments without close supervision, offer sensible tax and business advice and help junior staff progress.

You would work alongside the Principal and the wider team, taking on a varied mix of clients and entities, keeping work accurate and on time, and playing a part in the practice's growth. The firm offers visa sponsorship. The role is for applicants already in Australia, with unrestricted working rights or a current subclass 482 visa.

Kenyan accountants should present practice experience, entity types handled and software skills clearly on the CV, since public practice roles reward specifics. Build AI CV can help you structure it.

  • Deal with the ATO, ASIC and other authorities on client matters, including business registrations, ATO portal tasks, ASIC updates and renewals
  • Check the output of junior and intermediate accountants and coach their technical skills
  • Coordinate assignments, follow progress and help the team meet deadlines and quality standards
