Older people in a family-oriented Sydney aged care home need an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse. The home is well established and friendly, and its focus is person-centred care. Your part would be clinical care of a high quality, supporting how residents are doing and guiding care staff in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
This role is for nurses who already live in Australia and hold current AHPRA registration. Employer sponsorship (482 / 494 visa) is available to eligible candidates who are already in Australia and meet Department of Home Affairs requirements. Overseas applicants without current AHPRA registration or Australian residence will not be considered at this stage.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' needs, plan and deliver their nursing care, and review it
- Dispense medications and keep an eye on residents' health and wellbeing
- Join the wider team in drawing up and carrying out individual care plans
- Lead and mentor the nursing team
- Follow the legislation, regulations and organisational policies that apply, and keep residents, families and the care team informed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Living in Australia at present (essential)
- Significant aged care or similar healthcare experience, with a minimum of 1 year
- Strong clinical skills for the varied health needs of older adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus a compassionate, person-centred approach
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
