Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver nursing care that rests on evidence and follows each resident's care plan, assessing health, watching vital signs and managing medications and treatments
- Direct graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and Personal Care Workers, and set the standard for the whole care team
- Keep staff performing well through regular reviews and help with their development
- Stay in touch with clinical colleagues, residents, families, allied health professionals, GPs and outside bodies
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Bachelor of Nursing and unrestricted, current AHPRA registration, plus First Aid and CPR certificates that are current
- Professional and ethical practice that is up to date for aged care and infection control, meeting legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct
- Aged care experience, and willingness to keep up with ongoing mandatory training
