A not-for-profit aged care provider that puts its values first is recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse in Inverell, New South Wales. The home runs mornings, afternoons and overnight, so the roster is varied, and the provider is looking for someone compassionate and capable.
Working within your scope of practice, AHPRA requirements and the aged care standards, you would deliver safe, competent, up-to-date clinical care alongside the Care Manager, the General Manager and the wider care team. 482 visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Interview residents and their families to build a full picture of health and care needs, and assess each resident thoroughly
- Be involved from admission through to ongoing reviews, shaping each care plan and updating it on a regular basis
- Provide hands-on clinical care whenever residents need it
- Give medicines safely, including ordering, storing and recording them correctly
- Notice shifts in a resident's condition and act on them
- Record clinical information accurately and on time
- Liaise with families, carers, GPs and colleagues so residents achieve good outcomes
- Help uphold a respectful, safe culture, take part in quality and compliance improvements, and guide care staff on residents' clinical needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registration with AHPRA that is current
- Background in residential aged care, or knowledge of it
- Strong skills in clinical assessment, managing medication and documentation
- Understanding of accreditation and compliance in aged care, and of the government standards governing how care is delivered
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and comfort working within a multidisciplinary team
- A National Criminal History Check that is current, or the ability to get one, together with compliance with the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening
- A real passion for helping older people live with dignity, choice and respect
