Regional Queensland is the place for a Registered Nurse to build a career, and this permanent post is in a community-based aged care facility with 52 beds in a small country town less than two hours from Hervey Bay. A healthcare recruitment agency is filling it, and an immediate start is possible.
Sponsorship support may be offered to eligible candidates already residing in Australia, with Subclass 407 or 485-related pathways possible, subject to individual eligibility and immigration requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Give nursing care of a high standard that is tailored to each resident
- Give out medications and watch residents' health and wellbeing
- Write individualised care plans, carry them out and keep them under review
- Guide and support care staff so care standards stay high
- Keep clinical records accurate and complete
- Talk clearly with residents, families and other healthcare professionals
- Follow the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, contribute to quality improvement and clinical reviews, act quickly when a resident's condition changes or an emergency arises, and keep your professional knowledge up to date through ongoing development
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, held currently
- At least six months' experience as an RN in an aged care setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of AN-ACC funding and of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills, with confidence in clinical documentation systems
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance, plus a current National Criminal History Check
- A Queensland driver's licence that is valid
