A not-for-profit aged care provider is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for its residential home in Coffs Harbour, on the New South Wales North Coast. The post is permanent and full-time across morning, afternoon and night shifts, with the Care Manager as your line manager. While on shift you provide quality clinical care and take the lead with the personal care team, coaching and supervising them and earning the trust of residents and families through relationship-centred care.
The employer offers initial 482 sponsorship, with pathways to permanent residency for eligible applicants.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to a best-practice standard

- Use sound clinical judgement to spot changes in a resident's needs and respond, within clinical, safety and organisational policies and procedures
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- At least 2 years in nursing, ideally with some aged care
- Knows the aged care legislation and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Understands how AN-ACC assessments work
- Solid clinical grasp of ageing and the conditions that come with it
- Confident guiding, mentoring and backing up care staff
- Communicates strongly, resolves conflict well and shows emotional intelligence; positive, collaborative and competent with IT
