On a major solar construction project in Perth, a piling contractor needs a Project Analyst, in effect a technical site administrator, for its site-based team. It is not a typical administration job: it is technical and analytical, and it suits someone with an Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Solar QA or related background who enjoys data, systems and operational processes.
You would work closely with the project team, analysing construction data, reconciling quantities, maintaining project systems and sharpening reporting, productivity and efficiency. Employer sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce the daily and weekly figures for production, timesheets and plant
- Interpret how productively the construction work is going, and how the project is performing, using the data
- Square up quantities of piles, trackers and modules against each other, and look after the registers for surveys, pile tests and tolerances
- Run the ITP, ITC and ITR paperwork, punch lists and QA registers, and plan deliveries, materials and laydown areas
- Keep trackers in AppSheet, other project systems and reporting dashboards working, and help refine and streamline how site systems operate
- Keep the project teams, the client and the principal contractor informed through reports and documents
Requirements & Eligibility
- A technical background or qualification in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Operations Engineering or a related discipline is desirable
- Analytical strength and ease with large, complex data
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP)
- Real interest in better processes, higher productivity and operational efficiency, and sees where systems and workflows can be improved
- Close attention to detail, good at solving problems, and learns new systems fast
- Happy to work independently on a remote site
- Familiarity with Employment Hero, Primavera P6, Google Data Studio, AppSheet or Google Sheets would be advantageous
- Highly regarded: solar construction, manufacturing, logistics, operations or other project based experience
