Looking for a step up into leadership in painting? A long-established Western Australian firm with over 25 years in residential and commercial painting needs a Team Leader for its Painting Division. It is a full-time, permanent post in the Perth metro area, ideally for people who have painted and decorated on commercial construction sites and can show a proven record of extremely high standards.
The firm is known for getting details right, bringing projects in on time, specialty finishes and wallcoverings, and customer relations. Day to day, the Team Leader reports directly to the Painting Manager and works with the team across numerous sites. TSS482 visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Painting Manager.
- Keep your crew motivated and work with them at numerous sites.
- Look after projects and the people working on them, finding solutions to any problems or agreeing a good result with the Painting Manager.
- Work safely, following OSH policies, company procedures and induction manuals.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Is a Trade Certified Painter and must have finished an apprenticeship.
- Has led others before, as a leading hand or in a 2IC position.
- Can run projects and look after team members.
- Communicates clearly and keeps work organised.
- Finds answers to problems, or agrees with the Painting Manager how to get a good result.
- Notices small details, so quality stays under control.
- Reads and understands project drawings such as floor plans and elevations.
- Holds a manual driver's license and a White card.
- Applications from subcontractors or ABN holders are not accepted.
- Desirable: EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket.
- Desirable: First Aid.
- Desirable: experience in airless spraying.
- Has a current National Criminal History Check.
