A general practice near Newcastle is hiring a Registered Nurse into a full-time permanent position. General practice experience is preferable, but the practice will train the right candidate on the job, so nurses from hospital or community backgrounds can still look closely.
Temporary Residence and Permanent Residence sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, and answer the phones when needed
- Triage patients as they arrive
- Prepare chronic disease management plans and carry out health assessments
- Run the recall and reminder system
- Control stock, place orders and manage the cold chain
- Perform ECG and spirometry testing
- Carry out IV work, including iron infusions and venesections
- Manage wounds and give immunisations, children's included
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current, unconditional registration with AHPRA
- A current immunisations certificate, or willingness to complete the training
- CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children Check
- Good work ethic with organisational and time management skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- General practice experience is preferable
