A logistics business in Adelaide is adding two experienced diesel and trailer mechanics to a growing workshop team, in full-time permanent positions. It wants reliable, motivated people who take pride in quality workmanship and in keeping the fleet safe and moving.
Qualified mechanics already in Australia or overseas are welcome to apply if they meet the relevant visa requirements. Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, with the 482 visa for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service and repair heavy diesel trucks and semi-trailers, including scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Trace and fix mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension faults
- Repair air brake systems, axles, wheel bearings, landing legs and other trailer components
- Carry out safety inspections that meet NHVR compliance requirements
- Fill in maintenance records and job reports, working efficiently without lowering workmanship standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- A trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or an equivalent
- Hands-on work with heavy vehicles and trailers, including air brake systems and trailer maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Able to work independently and within a team
- An HC/MC driver's licence would be an advantage
- A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
