In Alice Springs, the established branch of an independent automotive glass specialist with a national customer base needs a driven, hands-on Branch Manager. The business has looked after retail, trade, fleet and insurance customers for over 30 years.
The manager runs the branch day to day and guides a close-knit crew of three, two qualified fitters and one highly experienced leading hand, with senior management on hand throughout. Business management, leadership and customer service all share the load. Applications are welcome from workshop, retail management, trade operations and service backgrounds. The employer is approved under the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA) for eligible candidates, and qualified onshore visa holders who need employer support are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Keep the branch running smoothly each day and track its financial performance against budget
- Roster the team, coach staff and encourage a positive workshop culture while overseeing performance
- Look after stock and inventory, build relationships with local suppliers and keep products available
- Grow retail, fleet, insurance and trade accounts and serve customers well by phone and face to face
- Uphold strict WHS standards, store security and tidy administrative records, and help with basic glass fitting or repairs in busy periods (on-the-job training provided)
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven record as a Branch Manager, Workshop Manager, Service Manager, Operations Manager or Retail Manager
- Good communicator and team manager with business awareness and computer skills
- Current, valid driver's licence (mandatory)
- For sponsored candidates: nomination under Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111, and relevant formal qualifications, suitable management experience, English proficiency and NT DAMA eligibility
