Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm are the hours at a Sydney stone manufacturer that wants an experienced Stonemason / Stone Fabricator. Overtime and Saturday work are available, and the position is full-time, permanent and long-term with an immediate start.
The work is fabricating natural and engineered or manufactured stone for kitchen benchtops and other stone applications, in an operation that is 100% wet-processing / water-fed, and the business wants someone who takes pride in high-quality work. Employer sponsorship may be available for suitably qualified and experienced international candidates who meet Australian immigration requirements, and overseas applicants are welcome.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate natural and manufactured stone for kitchen benchtops and other stone uses.
- Cut, shape, polish and finish stone, laminating and mitring edges and producing high-quality mitred joins.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and measurements.
- Work accurately and efficiently in a busy production setting.
- Keep workmanship and attention to detail high.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company systems.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Has proven stonemasonry and stone fabrication experience, with both natural and manufactured stone.
- Laminates, mitres, polishes and finishes with confidence and produces consistently high-quality work.
- Reads and interprets plans and drawings.
- Works independently and in a team.
- Pays close attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, hardworking, efficient in a fast-paced setting and physically capable.
- Holds a current driver's licence and holds, or is willing to obtain, a White Card.
- Desirable: forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
- 3+ years' industry experience is preferred, but suitably skilled candidates with less experience will be considered.
