Client projects in Sydney call for a Software Developer who can carry work from the first conversation with the client to a supported, live application: understanding the need, building, testing and deploying. The role means close teamwork with the QA, cloud and project teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from clients and stakeholders, and deliver working web and software applications on time and to specification
- Build front-end screens that adapt well to different devices, using ReactJS
- Create back-end services, APIs and database integrations
- Write tidy, documented code that can be tested
- Review code with colleagues, and test and debug alongside the QA team
- Help deploy applications through CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments, and keep learning new technologies and best practices
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of commercial software development
- Strong ReactJS and JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Back-end experience with at least one of Python, Java, .NET or Node.js
- Good SQL and relational database knowledge, with Git and agile experience
- Clear English, written and spoken
- Full working rights in Australia
- Cloud experience on Azure or AWS, and familiarity with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Docker
