Rope Access Technician

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · $30 - $36.50/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

A property maintenance firm that has traded in New Zealand for more than 20 years is recruiting five abseilers for permanent, full-time work on commercial buildings at height. Greater Auckland and Christchurch share your time, depending on where the work is, so expect regular travel with overnight stays, and the odd short trip to other regions.

Most weeks come to 40 hours: either 7am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, or nights from 6pm to 2am Monday to Thursday. The contract sets 70 hours a fortnight as the minimum, and rosters are issued about a week ahead. IRATA-qualified abseilers who are currently overseas and want to work in New Zealand are invited to contact the employer, an accredited employer that can sponsor them.

A rope access CV should list your IRATA level, hours logged and height safety certifications. Build it with Build AI CV, and if you are in Nairobi, Mombasa or Kisumu, keep the layout to one page.
