A Sydney private hospital is building up the nursing team in its intensive care unit and wants registered nurses who have already worked in critical care. Positions are permanent, full-time or part-time, with intensivists and other specialists close at hand.
The employer is open to considering visa sponsorship for nurses who hold the right qualifications. How far that goes depends on a nurse's own eligibility, the employer's requirements and Australian immigration law. Only nurses already living in Australia are being considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on care for patients in a critical state whose conditions are complicated
- Complete advanced assessments and keep each patient under clinical monitoring
- Respond quickly when a patient's condition changes, and help manage complex clinical situations and emergency interventions
- Partner with intensivists, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Keep documentation accurate to best-practice standards and help sustain a positive learning environment and continuous improvement
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered nurse status, with AHPRA registration in date
- Earlier experience working in an intensive care or critical care setting
- A postgraduate qualification in critical care or intensive care would be highly desirable
- Solid clinical assessment skills
- Critical thinking
- Decision-making ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for patient-centred care
